Devlog 3 - Enemies and Interactions
Good Afternoon!
No screenshots and I don't have the time this afternoon, but this is a Dev Log exploring the new enemies and interactions I have included into the Game!
For starters, I have finalised all the levels which will be found in my game, the only thing changing might be the physical layout of some. Starting at the tavern, there are 5 basement floors below which our intrepid hero can explore in the pursuit of inebriation, all of which can be accessed by finding the staircase leading down on each floor each floor has a different aesthetic, enemies and map layout, to keep the game interesting, from catacombs full of skeletons to jungle ruins, there is plenty to explore!
Another update from last game is the general combat and movement. I have updates the player animations into a 8 directional movement system, punching and kicking included, and our enemies are no longer immortal!, they have health, will hurt you, and some are far stronger than others, so watch out!
Finally, I have included a rudimentary score display at the top of the screen, showing player health, enemies killed and beer drank, and I hope to combine the beers drank and enemies killed into a fully fleshed out score system you can view in tile screen scenes I plan to omplement in the future!
Aaaand that's it!, I hope you enjoy this updated version of the game, which I will upload as the main build for this page, and appreciate any feedback!
